The winemaking philosophy of Yanmah Ridge is simple, to create wines of unique character and maximum quality, fully expressing the "terroir" of the Yanmah Ridge vineyard site.
Three red wines are produced, a premium blend of Cabernet sauvignon (65%), Merlot (30%) and Cabernet franc (5%), and an ultra premium varietal Merlot, a wine that is only produced in exceptional years and in limited quantities.
Two white table wines are produced, a superb Sauvignon blanc and a traditional barrel fermented Chardonnay.
To complete the line-up we produce a limited quantity of sparkling wine made by the 'methode champenoise' as used in the production of premium French champagne is hand crafted using Pinot noir (55%), Chardonnay (35 %) and Meunier (10%) under the name "Karrimont".
